HQ Trivia, the popular game show app that gives players the chance to win real cash prizes, is coming to Android.
The hype around headquarters comes from its simple but involving concept: you tune into a live, twice-daily trivia game show where there's a chance of winning real cash (in some cases, thousands of dollars). In other words, by January 1, you could be playing HQ Trivia with all of your iOS and Android friends. I've never played it, but I might now that it's crossing the platform gap, just for curiosity's sake. The app arrived in limited beta on Christmas, and Intermedia is "working quickly" to expand availability over the following week.More news: Best chance to win a Test series in SA: Rahane
Yusupov recently told Variety that he's considering to monetize HQ Trivia through brand partnerships, but that the current focus is on growth - which the expansion to Android should kickstart further.
You will split it between all of the people who have answered them all correctly. If you lose one question, you're out of the game, but you can still watch the remainder of the show. It's not uncommon for Rogowsky to disappear for 15 seconds or so before another question pops up on the screen, and he's clearly spending half of the time he does appear on the screen stalling for the lag many users are experiencing.
The harder questions will weed out thousands of players, leaving only a small group at the end. We will have to wait and see how it works out, but be on the lookout for HQ Trivia on Google Play January 1, 2018.
