Assassin's Creed Rogue heads to Xbox One, PS4 in March

Assassin's Creed Rogue, the darkest chapter of the Brotherhood, will now be remastered in higher quality and available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4!

It's a shame that Ubisoft didn't do more to properly promote Assassin's Creed: Rogue, because it focused on the Templar's side for once and gave an alternative view to the typical Assassin's story.

Today, Ubisoft announced that a remastered version of Rogue will be heading for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year.

Unfortunately, there is no word at this time regarding whether or not this remaster will benefit from any other improvements or additional content.

Along with this information, Ubisoft shared a trailer of Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered. I'm certainly looking forward to playing this one when it drops on PS4 and Xbox One on March 20. Launching for PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2014, it took a back seat to the somewhat troubled launch of Assassin's Creed Unity. Players will be hunting down their targets in the lovely city of New York City to Wild River Valley and toward the North Atlantic. After a risky mission gone tragically wrong, Shay turns his back on the Assassins who, in response, attempt to end his life. Shay turns on his former brothers and alongside his new Templar friends hunts down the people he once worked for. Initially launched in 2007, the Assassin's Creed franchise has expanded to films and comic books since then. Selling over 105 million units worldwide, the Assassin's Creed series is recognized for rich, engrossing storytelling, and is now established as one of the best-selling video game series in history.

The seventh major instalment in the Assassin's Creed series is being remastered for the new generation of consoles.
