HTC U11 EYEs Rumored For January 15, 2018 Launched

Today via its official Facebook page, HTC announced that its new smartphone U11 EYEs is all set to officially launch on January 15 in Taipei, Beijing, and Hong Kong. Moreover, tipster Evan Blass has also revealed the phone's specs through his Twitter account.The smartphone is said to be fitted with a 5.99-inch d Super-LCD 5 screen.

The Harmony will ship with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and 4GB of RAM, which should give it the power it needs to handle most any task with a good amount of speed.

The U11 EYEs will launch with Android Nougat. It is available in the color variants red, black, and silver.

Reports say the phone could land in Hong Kong, China, and HTC's home country Taiwan first, and then in other markets, including the U.S., as HTC Harmony. It has been used before on other midrange phones and this is exactly what you get with the incoming U11 EYEs.

There is also a microSD card slot, which enables users to further expand the phone's storage capacity using a microSD card. A fingerprint sensor will also be included. It will most likely be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 845 chipset. just like the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 and LG G7.

Although @evleaks hasn't mentioned anything about the imaging capabilities of the phone, it is said to be housing a dual selfie camera (12MP + 12MP).

Expected to release on 15 January, three days from now, the renders do indeed reveal two front-facing cameras, something we expected when the first leaked last month.

HTC is going to start 2018 with a mid-range device, if a new rumor is any indicator of what's coming down the pipe. The device is also rumoured to come backed by a 3,930mAh battery and IP67 certification.
