The 31-year-old signed a three-fight deal with Hearn's Matchroom with Khan's first fight slated for April 21 at Liverpool's Echo Arena and the opponent set to be announced sometime next week.

As for making up with Hearn, he says: 'I had found out that I couldn't be my own promoter.

Amir Khan's father Shah Khan added that his son was focused on training and getting ready for the next big fight and has the full support of all his family.

And he said his time in the jungle was crucial in allowing him to think about his boxing career.
