The National Hockey League announced today that Blues defenseman Alex Pietrangelo and forward Brayden Schenn have been named to the 2018 NHL All-Star Game. His 18 goals are tied for eighth-most.

Goaltender Devan Dubnyk, defenseman Ryan Suter and Head Coach Bruce Boudreau represented the Wild at the 2017 NHL All-Star Game in Los Angeles.

The 63rd annual NHL All-Star Game takes place on January 28, 2018 in Tampa Bay.

Pietrangelo, 27, has 30 points (seven goals, 23 assists) and a +12 rating through 42 games this season.

He won gold at the 2014 U18 World Junior Championships, ranking tied for second among tournament defensemen in scoring. The 2018 Honda NHL All-Star Game® will be televised live on NBC in the U.S.at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, January 28.

Vladimir Tarasenko's three-year streak of consecutive All-Star bids appears to have come to an end, as the Blues dynamic goal scorer was not selected for the game this time around.
