The handset is now official and we have all the details on this second generation Android smartphone from Nokia.

The Nokia 6 2018, however, isn't supposed to be a drastic revamp of the original Nokia 6.

Pricing for the Nokia 6 (2018) is expected to start at CNY1499 ($240 USD) for the 32GB model. The same is true about the core hardware set. The phone has a metal unibody design made of 6000 series aluminium, which is appreciable for a phone in this price range.

Primary Camera: 16MP, with an Aperture of f/2.0 for low light photography. And, like the Nokia 8, comes with a feature called Bothie that lets you capture photos and record videos using the front and rear camera simultaneously. There is also a microSD slot for up to 128 GB more. One that can be charged up by means of a USB Type-C port.

It was initially reported that the novelty will receive the display Full Screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9. However, this time around, Nokia has taken to a more modern design as well as software.

The big change in Nokia 6 (2018) is the processor. It would still be interesting to see what HMD has in store. The phone will be available in 32GB and 62GB variants. The GPUs are also different and the Adreno 508 found in Snapdragon 630 is said to offer up to 30 per cent better performance than Adreno 506 in the Snapdragon 626/625. All the connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS are present on the smartphone. It also has support for fast charging. The new Nokia cell phone is the successor to the most recent year's Nokia 6 and is appearing in China.

In addition, the Nokia 6 (2018) packs a 3000mAh battery that backings quick charging innovation. But HMD managed to shrink the top and bottom bezels, as compared to the original Nokia 6. The audio segment is infused with dual speakers paired with dual smart amplifiers and Dolby Atmos speakers. None of that is coming to the new Nokia 6 though. Up front is an 8-megapixel camera of aperture f/2.0 for selfies and video recording.

The device comes with high end cameras on the front and back. Think of it as picture-in-picture. Therefore, Nokia is pushing for Android 8.0 Oreo to some of its other devices and is likely to update this device soon. The device comes in Black and Silver colour variants. The company has to launch the smartphone in India at the earliest and price it aggressively to gain some market share. If history is any indication, HMD Global might have an announcement targeted at the Western Hemisphere planned for next month's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
