Seahawks to play road game in London against Raiders

The Seahawks will go global again in 2018 as the National Football League announced Thursday morning that Seattle will play the Oakland Raiders on October 14 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The other game, also to be played at Wembley, will feature first-timers Tennessee against the Los Angeles Chargers - that will be played on Sunday, October 21 or 28.

Kickoff time has not been announced.

Tennessee Titans, due to face New England Patriots for a place in the AFC Championship game, will play Los Angeles Chargers, runners-up behind Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West, at the same venue.

The NFL have confirmed ticketing information on the three NFL London 2018 games will be available on January 18.

The Raiders playing a 2018 game in London was a terribly kept secret, one NBC Sports Bay Area's Greg Papa discussed months ago on The Happy Hour.

The Raiders, Jaguars and Chargers will be considered the home team in their respective games in London. The dates will be released in mid-late April.

Spurs' 61,000 capacity arena is yet to be completed, but will be hosting the first of the games.

The Raiders have played outside the United States in three of the last four seasons, losing twice.

They did play a preseason game in London in 1991 against the Buffalo Bills as part of the now-defunct American Bowl series that was held in 1986-2005.

27 at EverBank Field and the Jaguars usually don't play at home the week before because of the stadium retrofitting.
