Apple will unveil the next generation of iOS and MacOS on June 4th

Apple is planning to return to San Jose again in 2018, between June 4th and June 8th this time around.

iOS 12 and macOS. together at last? Reports originating from Bloomberg indicate that the firm will be pushing for stability in this years release, and has pushed back much-requested features like a revamp of the home-screen in order to get this update right. We'll see what the deal is as Apple kicks off later this year. WWDC itself will take place from June 4th-8th at San Jose's McEnery Convention Center.

That's because Apple is expected to introduce universal apps that would run across Macs, iPhones and iPads.

The App Store is the most vibrant software marketplace in the world.

iOS and macOS aren't the only game in town for Apple. Past year at WWDC Apple debuted ARKit, and since then, developers with apps in every category on the App Store have embraced inventive ways to engage customers with virtual experiences overlaid in the real world.

In addition to the next versions of its operating systems for iOS, Mac, Apple Watch, and probably Apple TV, Apple could also announce a slew of new hardware. Meanwhile, the primary audience for the Mac Pro (and to a lesser extent, the iPad Pro) included WWDC attendees.
