Jurassic Park star Jeff Goldblum has announced that he will reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm in the Jurassic World Evolution video game

As of the time of this writing, Jurassic World Evolution now does not have a release date, but we know that it'll be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

"Jurassic World Evolution evolves players" relationship with the Jurassic World film franchise, placing them in control of operations on the legendary island of Isla Nublar and the surrounding islands of the Muertes Archipelago.

Frontier has now released a new Jurassic World Evolution trailer featuring Jeff Goldblum, who informs us that his character Dr. Ian Malcolm will be our guide as we put together our ill-conceived abominations against god and man. He confirms the news himself in a newly released short video (below). Just don't take the dinosaurs off the island. Malcolm was promoted to lead for The Lost World: Jurassic Park, where he very reluctantly undertakes a rescue mission to the original dinosaur testing site to rescue his girlfriend.

Every choice made by the player will form a specific path and respective challenges.

Dr. Ian Malcolm's journey through Jurassic Park is set to continue with Jurassic World Evolution.

Entertainment Weekly reports that a tie-in game for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has been announced, called Jurassic World Evolution.

Directed by J. A. Bayona, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin, James Cromwell, Jeff Goldblum and B.
