The Oppo F7 It has also teased the phone with an image that shows full-screen display with a notch and minimal bezels, similar to the OPPO R15 that will launch in China later this month.
As far as the first teaser from Oppo is concerned, the company has asked its fans to guess the name of the Indian Cricketer behind the smartphone. Oppo has taken to Twitter to tease the upcoming flagship smartphone in India alleged to be the successor to the Oppo F5, which was launched in November previous year.
Like majority of OPPO smartphones, last year's OPPO F5 was a selfie-centric smartphone that came with a 20 MP front camera, but, the OPPO F7 is said to come with a 25 MP selfie camera. The company has also roped in popular Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya as the ambassador for the OPPO F7 in the country. The design appears to be nearly similar to the Oppo R15, slated to be unveiled in the company's home market China later this month.More news: Man Utd open talks with Barcelona over £53m defender deal
As the company's official Twitter account has deleted the tweet about the launch date, we are not confirming it but it could still be the same date on which we might see the phone getting officially launched. However, Oppo Mobile India removed the tweet immediately and came up with another tweet that does not mention anything about the launch date. The F series phones comes with a tag line "Selfie Expert" and it seems like the Oppo F7 is also under the same tagline. The Oppo F7 will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack and micro USB port.
While the company has not yet revealed any specifications of the phone, an earlier report suggests that the phone could feature a 6.2-inch Full HD+ 19:9 display with 89.09 percent screen-to- body-ratio. The smartphone is believed to arrive in red color as well as the render shows it.
