Atlantic City High School was placed on a lockdown Wednesday after a threat was made against the school. "Better not come. F-- this place", according to multiple reports.

A planned walkout at Righetti High, held in conjunction with schools across the nation to protest gun violence, was postponed until lunchtime. "We brought in police department staff and we systematically searched the school". However this message was written with the intended violence to take place tomorrow.

School officials said the graffiti indicated a school shooting would happen.

Atascadero Police quickly identified, contacted and arrested the student responsible for the social media threat, said Hoover, who added that no other students were involved in perpetuating the threat.

This recent threat comes one month after the deadly school shooting in Parkland, Florida where 17 students and staff members lost their lives. Students will be dismissed at their regularly scheduled time Wednesday.
