Registrations open for Westworld mobile game

The project was still in the testing phase and WB Games had released no details.

Thankfully, WB Games finally revealed their plans for the game at SXSW 2018.

If you've been hyped to play the Westworld mobile game, the release date inches closer and Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment have begun pre-registrations for it today. The game is a joint production between WB Games San Francisco and Kilter Films.

The mobile experience will be available to both iOS and Android (through Google Play) users, and, as a bonus for pre-registering, users will be able to get a number of extra in-game items, including a code that will allow them to use Lawrence as a host. Westworld's writers are working closely on the game, which looks to complement the show in an interesting way.

Here's a description from the game as outlined in the press release: "Players will assume the role of a newly hired Delos Trainee, who has been granted access to the Delos Park Training Simulation (DPTS)". Players must match guests with corresponding hosts to satisfy their desires and improve their park simulation. Similar to other mobile titles like Bethesda's Fallout Shelter, the mobile version of Westworld is set to offer players a more cartoony take on the series. But if there's two HBO series airing this year fit for said treatment, the second is Westworld, a TV show with a plot that basically amounts to being a live action game.

Jonathan Knight, Vice President and Studio Head at WB Games San Francisco, said that fans will be developing "their own unique strategy to orchestrate and explore the flawless park experience".
