The Lakers - now the 3rd-ranked team in the Pacific Division standings with a 30-36 overall record - will be back in action on Tuesday night, as they're scheduled to host the Denver Nuggets inside the Staples Center.

The Los Angeles Lakers upset the Cleveland Cavaliers in the National Basketball Association as LeBron James and Lonzo Ball did battle on Sunday.

Celebrities like Mayweather, Adam Levine, Jason Sudeikis and Marlon Wayans joined Lakers fixture Jack Nicholson to get their only glimpse of James' only trip to Los Angeles to play the Lakers. Thomas did not have anything to prove against the Cavs - he finished fifth in the NBA MVP voting last season with the Celtics, right behind James - but his performance had to feel good.

While James (24 points) had a better game than Ball (five points), several other players stepped up big for the Lakers in a 127-113 win.

Julius Randle had a career-high 36 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists, and the Lakers put on a show in front of James with a 127-113 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night. Myles Turner scored 19 points, including the game-winning basket with 21 seconds to play, and added 10 rebounds for IN, who survived the insane ending to win for the fifth time IN six games.
