Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is all set to refresh its new smartphone line-up in India with V9 that will be launched on March 27.
Now, ahead of the official launch, the phone's live images have leaked online, giving us a clear look at its design. However, this was confirmed by the teaser image posted by the company. Vivo V9 seems to feature a 18:9 aspect ratio fullscreen display with a notch on the top, thus making it the first smartphone from this company to have a notch.
The new Vivo V9 smartphone to come with a dual cameras at the back panel.
The dual cameras on the back are aligned vertically in the top-left corner along with an LED flash placed just below the camera sensors. The leaked image shows the Vivo V9 in Gold colour though there are reports that there will be Black and Blue variants too. There is a fingerprint sensor in the top centre portion of the rear side as well as there is no scope for it on the front, due to the thin bezels. However, reports indicate the Vivo V9 will ship with a 24MP selfie camera and of course a primary dual camera setup.More news: Trade war between United States and Europe can still be avoided - Germany
The phone is also expected to come with a micro-USB port (in 2018 that seems like an anomaly). The phone is also expected to run Android Oreo out of the box along with FunTouch user interface atop it.
Looks like 27 March is going to be a "smartphone launch day".
As for the pricing, we would guess it will cost approximately ₹25,000 in India, which equals to about $385 in the United States. There is no any information about the phone's availability in other markets as of now.
