Other cities that were reportedly considered in the lead-up to host WrestleMania 35 included Philadelphia, Detroit, Toronto, Orlando, and Minneapolis, among others.
There is no telling what next year's event could bring in a return to MetLife 6 years later. The event has also been held in Florida and Texas a couple of times since it regularly became a football stadium show in 2007.
