The Song of Life is slated to release for the rest of the world next month, Sega has also announced that Yakuza Kiwami 2 will indeed be releasing in the West for the PlayStation 4.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 was released in Japan on December 7, 2017, marking what might be the quickest localization turnaround of any game in this series yet.

To be more precise, the game will release in the west on August 28th for PS4. All the in-game and cut-scene dialog has been re-recorded, with an emphasis on remaining "as true to the original as possible".

It's been a full year since Kazuma Kiryu took his leave from the world of the yakuza during the events of Yakuza: Kiwami.

There will be new content coming to Yakuza Kiwami 2 that wasn't present on the PlayStation 2 back in the day.
