All Accused Acquitted In Mecca Masjid Blasts Case:- All eyes have been focused on the Mecca Masjid blasts case and a special NIA Court in Hyderabad revealed the decision.

Owaisi took to Twitter to express his outrage over the verdict alleging that the NIA didn't pursue the case because of the "political masters".

On March 8, 2017, a National Investigation Agency Special Court in Jaipur in Rajasthan held three persons guilty in the 2007 Ajmer blast case, but acquitted Aseemanand and six others. Ten persons were named as accused in the case. During my interaction with Kaleem I learnt that he was previously arrested in the Mecca Masjid bomb blast case and he had to spend about oneand- a-half years in prison.

Hindu right-wing members Aseemanand, Devender Gupta, Lokesh Sharma, Bharatbhai and Rajender Chowdhary, who were charged by the NIA, were all acquitted.

Two other accused, former RSS pracharak Sandeep V. Dange and RSS activist and electrician Ramchandra Kalsangra, also from Madhya Pradesh, have been eluding the investigators.

The firebrand MP alleged that the Modi government did not even appeal against the bail given to the accused earlier. After initial investigations by the local police, the case was handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) which filed a chargesheet in the incident. Eventually, the case was taken over by the National Investigation Agency from the CBI in 2011.
