In a statement signed by the president's Personal Assistant on on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, on Thursday, April 12, 2018, there's a plan in place to convince the Nigerian people that the president's administration has made marks on their lives.

"There is no doubt that the President is good enough to be considered for a second term".

"In our political history, particularly in the modern political history since 1999 till date, President Muhammadu Buhari is the first incumbent president that will declare a second-term interest one clear year ahead of the election".

The PDP spokesman said, "Once politicking starts, every apparatus of government takes the back seat".
