China introduced a smartphone Nokia X

HMD Global, the new home of Nokia mobiles is apparently planning to launch a device named Nokia X on 27 April if speculations are to be believed from an advertisement at a multiplex in China. Today, Nokia 6 (2018) start taking pre-orders in the US.

So far it is hard to say what type of device the Nokia X would be, with speculations ranging from a budget one to a premium handset.

According to rumors, Nokia X will be available in 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM, and will have a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon or MediaTek. Nokia fans in the United States who were looking forward to this device will now be able to purchase one as HMD Global has released Nokia 6 (2018) in the country.

In terms of optics, the Nokia 6 (2018) is equipped with a single 16-megapixel rear camera with ZEISS optics, a dual-tone LED flash, an f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixels. So, this may not be a flagship device and just be another mid-range smartphone.

You'll have to fork over $269.99 if you go with Amazon or $276.17 if you opt for Walmart's online store.

The Nokia X has appeared in a China based advert (below) where two of the phones are laid across each other to make an "X". HMD Global had launched the Nokia 7 Plus in India earlier this month at Rs.25,999. The device will be made from a combination of metal and glass.
