Commonwealth Games: Nigeria's Suwaibidu Galadima clinches Gold in Men's T47 100m

With Anish's gold, India has surpassed the Glasgow CWG's gold medal tally, says a report by Times Of India. Gaurav Solanki also won Gold while Amit and Manish Kaushik settled for Silver.

On Friday, Team India added a rich haul of 11 medals on Day 9 of the Gold Coast Games. Vipin Kashana finished 5th.

The second meeting might be tricky for the men in blue, for there's the pressure of winning a medal. Tejaswini registered a new Games record of 457.9 points, while Anjum scored 455.7. He lost 3-1 to Galal yafai of England.

England have started the match at the Gold Coast Hockey Centre.

Nigerian athletes have earned medals in para powerlifting, table tennis, shot put and wrestling.

Five-time world boxing champion Mary Kom has already entered the finals.

O'Hara said she was "quite proud" of her performance.

Shreyasi Singh was eliminated from the women's trap finals in fifth position.
