Retro Sega Games coming to Nintendo Switch this summer

Me neither, but that doesn't stop me from getting excited about FIVE classic Sega Master System titles coming to the Switch very soon, with more to follow. While originally announced without confirmation of a western release at SEGA Fes, that was confirmed along with additions of Alex Kidd in Miracle World and Gain Ground to the collections list. The ports are being handled by M2, the Japanese developer known for the SEGA 3D Classics series on the Nintendo 3DS. However, a feature in an official Nintendo magazine in Spain has purportedly revealed several crucial details about the Pokemon game on the hybrid console.

The team has also confirmed that arcade releases will be part of the line-up, with Gain Ground being the initial launch title.

At the end of the panel, Shimomura said, "I believe that the Nintendo Switch hardware characteristics mesh very well with classic games". Sega Ages will continue for a few years, so we hope you will support us.
