Gareth Bale brace helps Real Madrid rout Celta 6-0

Celta Vigo will be aiming to spring a surprise in Madrid

Bale has endured an injury-hit campaign at Real and there has been fresh speculation that he could leave the club this summer, but the Welsh global starred in Saturday's 6-0 rout over Celta Vigo.

Though Real are still competing with city rivals Atletico Madrid for the runners up spot in the table, and Zidane's side's attentions will naturally be centred on the Champions League final at the end of the month. Isco, however, should be available to return on Saturday from a short term shoulder injury.

The Los Blancos coach told the postgame news conference that he did not have an XI in mind yet for the UCL decider in Kiev on May 26 but was happy with the hard decision he would have to make.

"But right now, I'm a coach of these players, and I value what they have done and what they are doing, whenever we have difficulties, they are the ones who are fighting".

"We had a great game and that was important". Training can not substitute for games. Meanwhile, Wales global Gareth Bale is now available after suspension.

Wales forward Bale has now scored four goals in four games - a form that boosts his chances of featuring in the UEFA Champions League final against Liverpool on May 26.

"It's better to have everyone plugged in", Zidane said at his post-match press conference. Any lingering fears he might miss the final should be gone now.

"I am happy for [Navas], with all the stick he has taken", he said. His overall game as suffered slightly as a result, but he has still just about justified his fee by scoring hugely important goals.
