The offseason is here for Arsenal FC, and that means the Gunners squad won't be reunited again until training camp commences in July.

It's certainly going to be an exciting transfer window at the Emirates, with a whole lot of topics to discuss. Let's take a spin through Tuesday's headlines.

New Gunners head coach Unai Emery has set about reshaping his midfield, with Lucas Torreira expected to join from Sampdoria and Aaron Ramsey offered a contract extension.

Arsenal have already announced the signing of Stephan Lichtsteiner from Juventus on a free transfer and are still pursuing Sokratis Papastathopolous from Borussia Dortmund.

Bernd Leno has dropped a big hint that he is close to a move to Arsenal this summer.

However, a good performance from the 22-year-old could well push that figure higher, and Arsenal do not want that to happen - Emery having only been given a £50m budget this summer.

And according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, the Gunners could look to push through the move and conduct a medical for Torreira in Russian Federation, where he is with the Uruguayan national team. The Daily Mail has more on the BVB man.

Arsenal's head of recruitment Sven Mislintat had always been scouting for players in these areas even before Wenger left and there is now firm interest in Totteira, who is 22 and has a £22 million release clause.
