Your input and behavior in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey has a big impact on the game. This is another new feature for this franchise.

The long-running dance series is back this year, and it's coming out on every platform imaginable: PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, Xbox 360, Wii U, and even the Wii.

After various leaks had essentially spelled out a portion of the game, Ubisoft finally took to the stage of their E3 2018 briefing and revealed that Assassin's Creed Odyssey is indeed a real thing. Given that this game is set 350 years before the events of Assassin's Creed Origins, which was supposed to document the founding of the Assassin order, that's not too surprising, although it is odd that the titular contract killers wouldn't actually show up in their own game. We also learned that Ubisoft is partnering with Joseph Gordon-Levitt's HitRECord program to allow anyone to submit songs, art, and more for the game. Unexpected encounters will breathe life into your story as you meet colorful characters, battle vicious mercenaries, and more.

Kassandra and Alexios are descendants of the first civilization bloodline, however, the developer video didn't divulge into the two's lineage further than that. Expect to see a full reveal trailer then.

This game looks set to take on a more Roman or Greek tone, moving away from the previous title's Egyptian setting.

The Division 2 will also nearly certainly make an appearance, as Ubisoft showcases more of the co-op gameplay. In the second trailer, gameplay from the game's PvPvE mode Hunting Grounds is shown.

From Assassin's Creed to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, Ubisoft has proved deft at provided games in many different genres to gamers all over the world and doing it well. But, more importantly, it makes some much-needed changes to the classic Assassin's Creed mould.
