The young woman outed herself on her Facebook page, with a post that declares: "Yes, I'm the tail pipe girl, whatchu know about it?"
19-year-old Kaitlyn Storm had to be rescued by authorities after getting her head stuck in a truck's exhaust pipe at a country music festival in Minnesota. It is not clear why she did so.
The brief video appears to show a firefighter preparing to use a power saw to free the woman.
"I did not know him, but everyone who was around me knew him", she told the paper.
Her head was reportedly so crammed into the auto part that firefighters had to use an electric saw to free her.More news: Eid-il-Fitr: FG declares Friday, Monday public holidays
Kaitlyn Strom was at the Winstock Country Music Festival in the town of Winsted on Friday when she made a decision to go where few people have gone before. But it wasn't the first time she had stuck her head in the pipe that day, KARE-TV reported.
"We were just all having fun, and I saw this big exhaust pipe, and I was like, 'Hey, my head could probably fit in that, ' so I tried it", Strom said.
Strom said while she's received a lot of criticism from people on line, she's also learned a valuable lesson.
Strom added that she didn't know the owner of the truck.
There's no word on who's going to foot the bill for the impromptu modification to the truck's exhaust pipe.
