Ghost of Tsushima release date: Gameplay trailer revealed - E3 2018 Sony highlights

Ghost of Tsushima

From traversing with parkour and utilizing the environment, to new combat and blockbuster set pieces, it's Spider-Man unlike any you've played before.

The pressure was certainly on Sony after it became increasingly apparent that most of the prior E3 conferences were, honestly, a bit on the soft side (if not flat-out disappointing).

He's back in this gameplay demo/trailer/whatever from Sony's E3 showcase, and he's brought some friends. Imagine the Batman Arkham games, except with samurais in Japan. And there's also a tantalizing cliffhanger that will surely make a few people eager to try out the game for themselves.

Marvel's Spider-Man swings its way onto shelves on September 7th, 2018. Along the way, Spider-Man will have to confront at least five of his greatest foes. This is an experienced Peter Parker who's more masterful at fighting big crime in New York City.

Ghost of Tsushima is the newest of the four games, and having only just been announced at Paris Games Week past year with a brief teaser, it was intriguing to see what this game was actually all about.

The reemergence of Ultimate Spider-Man would also paint a picture for the character's future. But Spider-Man 2 fixed that, and it turned swinging into something that was simultaneously skill-based and effortless.
