Sean Young - who famously played Lt. Lois Einhorn/Ray Finkle in "Ace Ventura" - is wanted for questioning by the NYPD after she was allegedly caught on surveillance video stealing laptops and video production software.
Police also want to interview a second unidentified person in connection with the theft of two Apple laptops containing video production software from School of Old LLC in Astoria. It is reported that Young previously worked there, but was sacked about five months ago.
The items are said to be worth about $12,000 (£9,400). Employees showed police surveillance footage of the break-in, which showed a man and a woman.
Young has been known for erratic behaviour over the years. The troubled star did recently receive a career boost by returning to her most famous role in 2017's Blade Runner 2049 - albeit with the use of CGI and a body double to recreate her appearance from the 1982 original. He claimed he even found a mutilated doll on his doorstep.More news: A Beleaguered Erdogan Threatens to Pull Out of North Atlantic Treaty Organisation
Young was arrested and Woods filed a $2 million harassment lawsuit against her, citing "intentional infliction of emotional distress". She denied the allegations and the suit was settled out of court.
Despite her troubles, her IMDB shows that she has been acting regularly.
