The star underwent the procedure to remove what she described as "an abscess that was nearly the size of a golf ball". Ultimately, she said, "But I didn't did".
"So long story short, I had surgery yesterday [Friday]", Jackson said, adding that the abscess was "almost the size of a golf ball".
"But I didn't die", she assured the group's followers.
"It was definitely the most pain that I've ever been through in my entire life considering I'm covered head-to-toe in tattoos, but I'm alive", Jackson said in videos on the band's Instagram Story.
Despite the agony, Paris pushed through the pain and was on stage with her band the next day to perform at Canyon Sessions, a fundraiser for the organisation F-Cancer, in front of supporters including her grandmother Katherine Jackson. "And if it pops, you can go septic and die", she continued.

In a separate post shared on her own Instagram account, Jackson explained just how important it was that Katherine Jackson, the 88-year-old Jackson family matriarch, was there to watch. I love you so much grandma.
As for why she'd decide not to take anesthesia, Paris didn't elaborate. "I'm so happy we got to play for you and to play for such an incredible cause". "I shouldn't have even left bed today".
Katherine helped raise Paris and brothers Prince and Blanket following the 2009 death of their father, Michael Jackson.
