Hours before the woman's body was found, McHenry's Instagram story revealed she was partying at several places around New York City, including the Frederick Hotel, the SoHo Grand and Dream Downtown in lower Manhattan.
The 26-year-old McHenry was pregnant at the time of her death. She was believed to have been 20 weeks pregnant.
"We had to send her mother to the hospital to calm her down", Pat said, adding she was "trying to keep everyone together", as the family dealt with the tragic news. She reportedly had a bag containing cocaine with her, which has prompted police to believe her death may have been a the result of an overdose.
She was found unresponsive on the sidewalk above the Major Deegan Expressway at Undercliff Ave. and Boscobel Place in Highbridge in the Bronx borough of New York City.

Lyric posted a snap of her dinner at the Soho Grand Hotel in NY with the caption: "This is where my heart is".
In her final clip, which she posted around 1 a.m., she was seen sitting next to a male friend as she blew a kiss to the camera.
"@Lyric_leigh words can not express how much I love and appreciate you in my life", the caption read.
In 2016, McHenry produced and appeared on a show called EJNYC for EJ Johnson.
McHenry's sister Maya, who also appeared on EJ Johnson's reality show, was likewise at the birthday celebration. From June 2008 to August 2011, the outlet reported that McHenry worked as a fundraising intern for Barack Obama's presidential campaign.
She went on to work as an agent trainee at UTA before moving on to jobs in video production at Complex Networks and Refinery29.
