Trump Organization accuses Omarosa's book publisher of tortious interference with hush agreement

Tom Arnold

Tom Arnold tells Jimmy Kimmel the Trump N-word tape is absolutely real. The Daily Show hopes it isn't.

A former contestant on Trump's reality TV show "The Apprentice", Manigault Newman was one of Trump's most prominent African-American supporters during his campaign.

Manigault Newman has made clear since launching her publicity tour this week for her book, "Unhinged", that she plans to continue selectively releasing her material if Trump and his associates continue to attack her credibility and challenge the claims in her book.

Manigault Newman this week infuriated Trump with the release of conversations that she secretly recorded during her time working for his administration, which is the subject of a tell-all book she is now promoting.

Maher then aired the tape of Trump talking to Omarosa after she was sacked by Chief of Staff John Kelly.

In the clips, Lara Trump is heard offering to pay Omarosa $15,000 a month for a "flexible" campaign job in exchange for remaining silent about what she saw during her year working at the White House.

Matthew Chapman is a video game designer, science fiction author, and political reporter from Austin, TX. "I don't care, she's out a**hole now!"

Maher reminded his audience how "Apprentice" alum Manigault Newman had previously defended Trump "a million times" and also lied for the president, but joked, "she's our asshole now".

Omarosa has now viciously turned on the president and is making the rounds of liberal media to promote her new tell-all book. The fact that Omarosa taped any conversations clearly caught top White House aides by surprise.

Why did you do that?' " writes Manigault Newman.

She now says he "used" her, calling him a "con" who "has been masquerading as someone who is actually open to engaging with diverse communities" but is "truly a racist". "You have to go back to 2003 and I can tell you that she is biding her time", she said in the interview. Arnold believes that Burnett is protecting Trump because he is his "best friend" and told Kimmel that an MGM board member reached out to him to say that Burnett has ordered the board not to discuss the tape.

Due to her history, many commentators have pointed out that it's hard to verify Omarosa's claims as truth.

President Trump has called Manigault Newman a "crazed, crying lowlife", a "dog", and "vicious, but not smart" in tweets this week.
