DirectD revealed today that Xiaomi's Redmi Note 5 will now be priced at RM869 for the variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, with the base model 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant coming in at just RM699 now. Xiaomi Mi A2 is an Amazon-exclusive smartphone and it will also be able via Mi.com. The smartphone come with dual real camera setups, and has a 20-megapixel front camera with a soft-LED flash.

It is to be noted that Xiaomi will launch only the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant in India. The motorized camera module hides a 16MP + 20MP dual rear camera and a 25MP front camera.

First sale of the Mi A2 starts at 12 noon, 16th August, 2018 on mi.com, Amazon India, and Mi Home stores.

The Zenfone 5Z will be the second smartphone to be available in India with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Both the camera sensors at the rear have a f/1.8 aperture.

Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and USB Type-C port.

NEX is the other unique phone expected to arrive in India this month. It has a 6.59-inch amoled display giving it a screen to body ratio of 91%.

In the optics department, the Mi A2 features a 12MP Sony IMX486 sensor having 1.25 micron pixel size and a secondary 20MP Sony IMX376 sensor for portrait pictures.

After launching the Mi A2 globally, Xiaomi has launched the phone today in India.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 is certainly an interesting smartphone from a company that prides itself with a lower field failure rate. Similar to its predecessor - the Mi A1, this one also comes with Android One instead of the MIUI custom ROM. As the device supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0+, the user have to buy a compatible adapter separately to charge the device faster.
