Purportedly, there are antenna strips on the back similar to the iPhone 6/7 and two microphones on the top edge of the device.

According to a new patent that Apple has filed, engineers were reluctant to include the always-on display functionality because of OLED burn-in issues and battery drain. The repositioned Smart Connector means the 12.9-inch iPad Pro will sit in a portrait orientation while using accessories like the Smart Keyboard which might be a bit odd.

Apple has achieved this by removing the Home button from the tablet and switching to Face ID. A 10.5-inch iPad Pro variant is also speculated to debut at the forthcoming Apple event.

Since the origins of the CAD and renders are not known, the reliability factor is not very high, since there is no official logo or related information. While the look of the new iPhones has already been leaked (spoiler: they look the same), it's unknown what the new iPad Pros, with their rumored thinner bezels and Face ID might look like. The existing iPad Pro models notably have the three-pin interface at the left side.

With Samsung offering a Super AMOLED display on the Tab 4, it remains to be seen if a new variation of the Retina display will keep up the progress.

With just a little over a week until Apple's event, the rumor mill is not slowing down.

When it comes to inside tech, iPads sport a modified version of the processor featured on the previous iPhone incarnation.

"For obvious reasons, this consumption can dissatisfy users as their overall expected amount of available storage space is reduced for seemingly unknown reasons".
