Meghan Markle Reveals How She Secretly Paid Tribute to Her First Date With Prince Harry at Royal Wedding

In news that makes us wonder whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could actually get any cuter, the Duchess of Sussex has now revealed the symbolism behind her "something blue" on her wedding day.

After Meghan entered the room, she remarked on how "amazing" her Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy gown was, saying: "The work that they did here is just so beautiful". Even though we captured every stunning detail of the ceremony and reception for you, there's still plenty we'd love to see from the affair. "Fifty-three countries as well, my goodness, it will keep us busy".

Queen of the World airs in the United Kingdom on ITV this week, and on HBO in the USA next week. "It's fabric from the dress that I wore on our first date", she explained.

In an exclusive sneak peek obtained by People from a forthcoming HBO documentary about the royal family, Queen of the World, Markle spilled some revelations about her 16-foot wedding veil.

Meghan arrives for her wedding to Prince Harry at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle on May 19.

Meghan - who alongside Harry works as an ambassador for the Commonwealth Trust - had the flowers which represent all 53 countries in the Commonwealth stitched into her veil and she admitted it was very "important" for her to do that because of her new role.

"It was important to me, especially now being a part of the royal family, to have all 53 of the Commonwealth countries incorporated", says the Duchess, confirming it was her idea to proceed with the tribute.

Queen of the World is on ITV at 9.15pm on Tuesday.

In another more recent "twinning" moment, Princess Eugenie - Beatrice's younger sister - wore the same Aquazzura heels as Meghan during a night out with fiance Jack Brooksbank earlier this year.

She added: "It's attractive ― diversity, inclusivity, coming together in grief or joy ― there is just so much love".

The tennis star is among an array of celeb friends Meghan Markle made when she rocketed to fame in United States drama Suits.

Interviewer Lisa Wilkinson pointed out that Williams said she was "excited by how much influence there was of the African-American culture" at the wedding.
