The woman police say drove her vehicle through a Brooklyn crosswalk and killed a 1-year-old and 4-year-old child, leaving several others injured, has been found dead in her Staten Island home.

According to People, police were called to Bruns' Staten Island home on Monday afternoon by a friend who checked in on her, only to find her unconscious in her bedroom. Authorities say pills and a note were found nearby.

The triple-killing saw Bruns indicted by a grand jury on charges of manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide and assault. Miles, Lew and another pedestrian were all injured in the crash and Miles, who was seven months pregnant at the time, suffered a miscarriage months later due to injuries she sustained that day, according to NBC 4 NY.

In March, Dorothy Bruns allegedly ran a red light and struck a then-pregnant Miles, 35, and her daughter, Abigail Blumenstein, as they crossed the road in Brooklyn, New York.

One of the mothers is Broadway actress Ruthy Ann Miles, whose unborn baby later died.
