She even threw in a #friendshipneverends for good measure.

Earlier this week, Mel B told the Loose Women panel that she was sure Victoria would be a late addition to the line-up when the girls hit the road for a six date tour next year.

Sporty, Scary, Ginger and Baby, let's give them their proper titles - spoke about their comeback on Heart Breakfast, the radio show now presented by Bunton alongside Jamie Theakston.

There were jokes about Mel B "behaving herself" as they prepare for their Spice World shows next year - their first shows since the London Olympics closing ceremony in 2012, and their first tour since their last reunion 10 years ago. Spice Girls Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm will kick off a tour with stadium performances in their native U starting in the spring of 2019.

Emma said: "There's no plans for Glastonbury but we should though".

"We all really support each other".

"She's joining us at Wembley", chipped in Mel B, apparently in jest.

As news of the reformation tour spread, Beckham, 44, aka Posh Spice, shared a sweet post to Instagram announcing that she would not be joining the girls but wished them, "so much love and fun as they go back on tour".

She enthused: 'We're recording an album, and we're going to the studio'. You know where to find me'.

Whether 90s Union Jack waving product-placement driven feminism remains relevant in 2018 will be revealed when tickets go on sale on Saturday Morning for the hotly-anticipated shows.

"I've always said we're going to get back together", she told Evans.
