On Saturday night, Pete Davidson performed on Saturday Night Live, discussing the upcoming mid-term elections in the United States, when he briefly brought up to topic of his ex-fiance, Ariana Grande.
What do you think about Ariana Grande's latest song? In the commercial for "Saturday Night Live", Davidson jokingly proposed to artist Maggie Roggers.
During Saturday night's episode, Davidson took a more serious tone and addressed the split during "Weekend Update", and this time there were no jokes. However, as the bit came to a close, Davidson faced the camera and announced that while people may be curious about the breakup, "it's nobody's business, and sometimes things don't work out, and that's OK".
Over the course of Thursday and Friday she continued to tweet "thank u, next", as well as rhymes which appeared to be (and in fact are) lyrics. But he also had a few words to say about the aftermath of his breakup.
The new track arrives just three months after Grande's most recent album, Sweetener.More news: With $62.9 bn revenue, Apple has $237 bn in cash on hand
Pete had nothing but love for Ariana Grande during his first appearance on Saturday Night Live since their break up.
But she then decided to make her gratitude balloon into a culturally-relevant balloon when she posted another pic of it, this time making it say "Thank You! next".

"Ariana really wrote a song about exes and emotional healing and self love without being bitter at all and as a plus it's a total bop wow I'm obsessed", wrote one fan.
