The Spice Girls Are Reuniting

Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown, Melanie "Sporty Spice" Chisholm, Emma "Baby Spice" Bunton, and Geri "Ginger Spice" Horner (nee Halliwell) announced their long-awaited tour with a tongue-in-cheek video via their official Twitter page yesterday.

Finally, we officially know what Spice Girls excitement is in store for us: the iconic group will be touring in the United Kingdom in the summer of 2019.

Asked if she'd like the band to go on a world tour, she responded: "We are".

Beckham, now a respected fashion designer, then also took to social media, posting a photo of the foursome alongside a statement.

It won't be a complete reunion, however, as the iconic British 90s pop group will be without Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham.

The reunited five-piece played a reunion tour in 2007 and went on to perform together at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

An expected comeback in 2016 with 3 bandmates failed to materialize.
